Spring and our Annual Spring Vacation - 2006-04-07 10:25:35
<<< Previous - Short, Little Bald Man....Jerry Joseph! | Next - Spring Vacation far behind....spring chores slap me in the face! >>>

Here is a picture of the family. What a wonderfully relaxing time we had! Thanks for the good food, the laughs, tears and your love.

Our spring trip began with two more nights of Jerry---which turned out to be our "own private show" since there were maybe 25 people in the bar. It was intimate and relaxing. I had all the room I wanted to dance and that was a nice change from wiggling around with a hundred sweaty bodies! Not that it's always a bad thing!!!

On Monday before the last show we took the dogs for a walk and frisbee playing to a nearby butte. Here is a photo from that. I can't post more now, but will post more pictures tomorrow.

Is there a party at your place this year? What is the date?

Yes, Jon--and we'll be sprinkling Gramma's ashes above the refuge where Grandpop Johnny's are if you want to take an extra day and meet us there or...?

Nice picture Babesy! Wasn't it neat that the bicyclist tried to help? Good memories!

So good to see everyone! Oh and Sharon you didn't share what you decided to do about the hallway! (Someday I hope to paint the walls where I live - until then I have to live vicariously!)

Tell us when the meetup dates are - when you know them - so I can mark our calendar!

I need to pick a firm date for Solstice. It will either be Father's Day weekend June 17th and 18th (as it usually is) or June 24th and 25th. Does anyone have any preference? Please let me know.

Why are there choices this year? Which is better for you? Anyway, we'll be there!

Either of these is good for us.

The McLarens are having a grand meeting of the clan on the weekend of the 17th (I think, but will confirm). My presence has been demanded (though Chris will likely be getting me a utili-kilt before then, so WOOT!). Anyway, the 24th is better for me, but absolutely *do not* change everybody's plans just to suit my fat ass.

Lisa and I will be in Montana from the 16th to the 22nd or 23rd so Father's day weekend is best for us. Too bad our dates are the opposite of Rob's.

What a dilemma! Maybe we should have it in the middle of the week on the real first day of summer or Solstice, the 21st. and 22nd.--Wednesday and Thursday...Of course that's easy for my retired self to say! Jon says he's going to retire 30 years from now--when he'll be 73!

u r so cute and i luv u and miss u!
