Welcome to Jon's Blog. If you are looking for the dorky kid from Stevensville, the pizza guy from Missoula/Bozeman, the drunk asshole from Irvine, the code monkey in San Diego, the silly Stoic in Eugene, Orophino from WoW/FFXIV, y6y6y6 from MetaFilter, MacAlpine from the SCA, or the fat bald guy with a camera you ran across somewhere.... That's me. Back to blogging. Funny how things come full circle.
This page was created in the late 90s during the blogging era. Before Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc even existed. It's gone through many incarnations over the decades. But I'm relaunching it fresh in 2019. It's my chance to stand in the town square and talk to the world.
Jon Sullivan is a 61 year old programmer living in Eugene OR. He plays too many video games. And is said to be an excellent cook. Also, he takes photos.

I didn't get as many photos this year. More inner journey than camera adventure. But it was a year.

I don't remember the last two winters being this grey and cloudy, rainy, wet. This winter has felt proverb level wet.

The bigots and billionaires won. We lost. What now? 1) don't get crazy, 2) be a safe space, 3) hold on to compassion.
